Role Overview Medical Laboratory Scientists utilize advanced technology to perform complex chemical, biological, and microscopic analyses, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate, timely laboratory testing across various sections including Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, and Microbiology.Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.Manage specimen collection, labeling, and storage efficiently.Conduct Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures to ensure compliance with standards.Communicate test results and laboratory issues effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Participate in proficiency testing, accreditation, and continuing education to maintain certification and competency.Contribute to policy development, staff education, and process improvements. Qualifications & Skills Certifications: MLS (AMT) or MT (ASCP) within 1 year, or equivalent.Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or Medical Technology.Experience in clinical laboratory testing, including manual and automated techniques.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
