Required Qualifications

• Valid MN teaching license in English as a Second Language (K-12)
• Cross-cultural experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in another language

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for ML services
• Supervise ML educational assistant staff
• Advocate for students and ensure equal access to educational opportunities
• Provide opportunities for students to learn English
• Guide students' personal and social development
• Communicate with parents
• Maintain accurate student records
• Comply with federal, state and district legal requirements
• Contribute to school system's effectiveness
