About the role

The MK7 RB Product Owner at Lockheed Martin is responsible for defining and prioritizing product requirements to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, program management, and customer representatives to define product requirements.
  • Prioritize requirements based on business value and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document customer needs and translate them into product specifications.
  • Manage the product backlog and facilitate sprint planning meetings to ensure continuous improvement and delivery of high-quality products.
  • Ensure alignment between product requirements and project timelines, budgets, and resource constraints.
  • Contribute to the development of product roadmaps and participate in strategic planning sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or software development.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Scrum.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRM).
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance practices.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
