Mixing Operator I - 2nd Shift

About the role

An entry-level role within the Mixing department, responsible for operating and maintaining the Mixing and Granulation equipment according to company standard operating procedures while ensuring compliance with cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Verify room release status before starting the Mixing and Granulation operation.
• Learn and operate Mills, Co-Mills, Vibro Sifter, and Loading/Unloading Drying Ovens with Trays.
• Perform “A” and “B” cleaning of “V” blenders and PIAB.
• Maintain dedicated equipment list and follow established processes.
• Operate or tend machines to mix or blend or Granulate any of a wide variety of materials into machinery/equipment.
• Monitor production and equipment operation to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Verify weighing scales and check calibration status.
• Check and verify the ingredient weighed in Pharmacy against PBR entries, report discrepancies to supervisor or designee.
• Inspect materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Record each step after completion and maintain Production batch records after each batch.
• Keep the room neat, clean, and organized at all times.
• Be familiar with the staging area for Mixing and Granulation for dispensed batches by Pharmacy and staging.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED, General HS Curriculum preferred.
• Experience: 1 year or more experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing.
• Skills: Intermediate reading, writing, and communication in English; high school level math and mechanical skills; flexibility to work extended hours when required; ability to work as part of a team; attention to detail and accuracy.
• Additional Requirement: Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.

Pay

The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant skills.

2nd Shift, 3:30pm - 12:00AM, Monday to Friday.
