About the role

The 2nd Shift Operator I (Mixer) plays a critical role in the manufacturing process within the non-durable goods sector by operating and monitoring mixing equipment during the second shift. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mixing machinery to ensure proper blending of raw materials according to production specifications.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to prevent malfunctions and ensure operational efficiency.
• Accurately record production data, including batch numbers, quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines and quality control standards to maintain a safe working environment and product integrity.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status, equipment issues, and shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial mixing equipment. Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Preferred qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with mixing or blending equipment. Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures in a manufacturing setting. Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking. Certification in forklift operation or other relevant manufacturing equipment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
