Mixing Operator

Operational Duties

• Operate Tennant floor sweeping and scrubbing equipment throughout the plant.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in production and mixing areas.
• Sweep areas that are inaccessible to floor-cleaning machines using brooms and hand tools.
• Scrape excess rubber and buildup from floors throughout the shift.
• Use squeegees to remove fine pigments, dust, and liquids from floors.
• Absorb excess water from drums during spill response, cleanup, and water removal.
• Fold and band material bags for recycling, storage, or disposal.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, and other facility areas as needed.
• Collect and dispose of waste, debris, and scrap materials.
• Perform additional housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
• Ability to work in a highly dusty and dirty manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule

• Full Time 1st shift
• Occasional weekends as needed.
• Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3pm

Pay and Benefits

• $18.50/hr
