MIXING OPERATOR

About the role

The Mixing Operator supports daily production operations within the Mixing Department, performing tasks such as batch building, Banbury operation, pre-weigh activities, wig wag operation, drop mill operation, and roller die operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform mixing department processes safely and efficiently.
• Build batches and support material preparation activities.
• Operate Banbury, pre-weigh, wig wag, drop mill, and roller die equipment.
• Complete required shift check sheets and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Monitor product quality and follow established quality standards.
• Operate forklifts and other authorized equipment as needed.
• Perform patchwork, re-dipping, and disposition tag activities when required.
• Provide relief coverage for team members during breaks and absences.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and production obstacles to supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Certification or ability to obtain PIV/hoist certification.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (team lift required when necessary).
• Ability to stand and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Shift work schedule is required.
