About the role
Dawson Veterinary Clinic, located in Dawson, Minnesota, is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their team. The position is suitable for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians who enjoy working in a rural community, handling a mix of small and large animal medicine, and working alongside a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of a diverse range of animals including small, large, exotics, and wildlife
- Handling both general practice and urgent care cases
- Rotating between Appleton and Dawson hospitals for a varied caseload
- Participating in 1-on-1 mentorship programs
- Providing personalized care and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
- Current North Dakota license
- Experience in mixed animal practice preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for providing quality care in a supportive environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in a supportive, growth-oriented environment
Skills
- Comfortable with emergency medicine
- Skilled in digital radiography, ultrasound, and other diagnostic tools
- Proficient in managing a diverse caseload
- Strong client relations and communication skills
Benefits
- Salary range: $85k - $110k + 20% production
