Key Responsibilities
- Perform water damage mitigation and restoration services.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct basic maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
- Inspect completed work and ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete technician’s daily log and necessary documentation.
- Maintain the appearance and inventory of company vehicles and supplies.
- Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company’s services at the customer’s property.
- Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Managers.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- One or more years of experience in water damage restoration (preferred).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certification in Water Mitigation or Mold Remediation (or willingness to get certified).
- Basic proficiency with computers, email, and mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
- Basic English reading and writing skills required.
- Good mathematical skills to determine appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Water Damage Restoration Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
- Basic knowledge of water, fire, and mold damage mitigation principles.
- Ability to operate mitigation equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces.
