Mitigation Technician

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation services according to Paul Davis standards
• Use water extraction tools to remove water and prevent further damage
• Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment and document moisture levels to monitor progress
• Perform assigned demolition, debris removal, and light construction tasks
• Carefully manipulate, pack-out, clean and store customer contents
• Assist with emergency board-ups and tarping when needed
• Document job progress with photos, readings, and digital notes in company software
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of job sites, vehicles, and tools
• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE per OSHA and EPA standards
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers, teammates, and supervisors
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation
• Assist in training new team members as needed

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent customer service mindset and work ethic
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or elevated areas
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and coworkers
• Ability to safely operate mitigation equipment and basic hand/power tools or willing to learn
• IICRC certification (WRT, FSRT, ASD) preferred; training provided for qualified candidates
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S
