Education and Certification
- IICRC Certified Water Restoration Technician
- IICRC Fire Restoration Technician
- IICRC Certified Mold Remediation Technician
- Council Certified Structural Drying Remediator/Supervisor (CSDR/CSDS)
Preferred industry certification but not necessary; these are a plus and the company will train and certify if not already certified.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond daily to water mitigation clean‑up jobs, sewage back‑ups, flooding, fire board‑ups, and demolition jobs.
- Be trained on water extraction and operation of equipment.
- Learn how to set up and operate drying equipment.
- Report to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for job assignments and complete assigned tasks daily.
- Preserve structural items and contents according to the Project Supervisor’s instructions.
- Inform the Project Supervisor of the equipment and materials needed to complete the assignment properly and on schedule.
- Possess communication skills and experience to direct laborers in the restoration protocols.
- Responsible for personnel documentation, hours, and work performed on a given shift.
- Practice on‑the‑job safety and encourage safety amongst the labor force.
- Be included on an on‑call schedule and rotation for after‑hours and weekend assignments.
