Mitigation Manager
About the role
This position involves leading and supporting Project Managers, Lead Techs, and Mitigation Technicians. You will oversee projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and documentation accuracy. You will also visit job sites to monitor progress, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

- Coordinate scheduling, dispatch, and equipment logistics
- Approve estimates and job documentation (Xactimate or similar)

- Collaborate with insurance adjusters, agents, and clients to resolve claims
- Train, mentor, and develop your team for continuous improvement
- Maintain profitability by managing labor, materials, and timelines

- Ensure all safety and compliance policies (OSHA, IICRC) are followed
- Handle escalated job-site issues or customer concerns
- Assist with large-loss jobs and emergency planning
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- 5+ years in mitigation/restoration, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- IICRC Certifications preferred: WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Xactimate and digital job management tools
- Solid knowledge of the insurance claims process
- On-call availability as needed
- Lift up to 70 lbs and work in tight, high-moisture environments
- Frequent standing, walking, crawling, and climbing
- Must use respirators and safety gear as required
