Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site inspections for water, mold, and fire losses
• Create detailed mitigation and demolition estimates using Xactimate
• Determine scope based on category/class of loss and industry best practices
• Present estimates, documentation, photos, and reports
• Effectively communicate with adjusters, property managers, and homeowners
• Support operations with scope clarification and change orders
• Aid with moisture mapping, documentation, and job file compliance
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for testing (asbestos, mold, lead, etc.)
• Guarantee estimates comply with carrier guidelines and company standards

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year+ experience estimating mitigation/restoration work
• Strong working knowledge of Xactimate (required)
• Understanding of water categories, drying principles, and mold protocols
• Familiarity with insurance claims processes and adjuster communication
• Ability to read moisture data and field documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) preferred
• Experience with large-loss or commercial claims
• Familiarity with SERVPRO systems and standards
