Key Responsibilities
- Carry out real-time mitigation file reviews using systems like MICA/MITIGATE, DASH, and Docusketch.
- Verify scope accuracy, completeness of documentation, and proper capture of field data.
- Identify documentation deficiencies that could delay billing, impact claim approval, or necessitate return visits.
- Perform comprehensive audits of job files to ensure compliance with company procedures and insurance carrier requirements.
- Review and organize file notes, photographs, moisture documentation, and supporting records.
- Prepare preliminary mitigation estimates using field documentation, Docusketch data, and restoration software.
- Develop and review detailed mitigation estimates in Xactimate.
- Aid in supplement preparation and communication with insurance carriers when needed.
- Support timely invoicing and revenue cycle management through accurate scope development.
- Collaborate closely with mitigation, production, and administrative teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
- Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records within company systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of restoration, construction estimating, or related industry experience preferred.
- Experience with insurance-based estimating and Xactimate required.
- Familiarity with water, fire, mold, or storm restoration processes.
- Understanding of residential and light commercial construction methods and materials.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Docusketch, MICA, DASH, or similar restoration systems is a plus.
