Description of Duties
- Have a firm understanding of operations and maintenance or security procedures.
- Cook up support with other internal program elements to give and receive additional support as needed.
- Aid in maintaining, securing, issuing and ensuring accountability for visitor restricted area badges in support of site access duties and distinguished visitor (DV) events.
- Aid in installations, maintenance, break/fix activities, and other Field Service activities are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with various members of the team and stakeholders.
- Aid in ensuring construction and maintenance personnel are properly badged, are briefed on security standards and are monitored within the restricted area for conformance with all applicable security policies and regulations.
- Aid in conducting repairs to quality standards and conducting post-repair quality checks to prevent repeat issues.
- Aid staff personnel with plans, programs, and implementation of activities which may include security, logistics, visitor control, protocol events, scheduling, and test support.
- Aid customer with maintaining security databases, tracking escort training and access lists to secured rooms, security containers within the facility and photographic device permits.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a culture of safety.
Basic Requirements
- Must have 4, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience.
- May be reduced with completion of advanced education.
- Must have 2, or more, years of directly related experience in maintenance or security operations.
- Must have an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Requirements
- Have experience operating a forklift and/or high-lift.
- Have experience utilizing a ticketing system to track issues and fixes.
Compensation Details
$36.05/hr – $43.26/hr
