Mission Support Technician - DoW

Job Summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Mission Support Technician who supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The position is located at Vandenberg SFB, CA and does not offer relocation assistance or remote/telework options. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

About the Role

The Mission Support Technician will provide and receive support from other internal program elements, maintain and secure visitor restricted area badges, assist with installations and maintenance, conduct security briefings, ensure repairs meet quality standards, and assist with various security-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate support with other internal program elements
• Maintain, secure, issue, and ensure accountability for visitor restricted area badges
• Assist with installations, maintenance, and break/fix activities
• Conduct security briefings to required personnel
• Ensure construction and maintenance personnel are properly badged and briefed on security standards
• Conduct post-repair quality checks to prevent repeat issues
• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems
• Aid staff personnel with plans, programs, and implementation of security, logistics, visitor control, protocol events, scheduling, and test support
• Assist customers with maintaining security databases, tracking escort training and access lists
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a culture of safety

Requirements

• 4+ years of general work experience or equivalent in maintenance or security operations
• 2+ years of directly related experience in maintenance or security operations
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Qualifications

• Firm understanding of operations and maintenance or security procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating effective and efficient interchanges
• Strong sense of ethics and commitment to following and upholding security protocols

Skills

• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience utilizing a ticketing system to track issues and fixes

Pay

This position is expected to pay $36.05 – $43.26 hourly, depending on experience, education, and relevant certifications.
