Mission Planning System Administrator (Level 3)
Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated Mission Planning experience
Experience handling COMSEC information
Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire
Willingness and ability to work extended hours, odd/off-shifts and weekends as needed
Ability to attain and maintain both Secret collateral and SAP program clearances
Responsibilities
- Supporting flight test activities at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the F-35B and F-35C aircraft as part of the Air Vehicle Mission Planning Environment (MPE) team.
- Responsible for the F-35 mission planning systems and processes to include, but not limited to: Deploying mission plans for communications/datalinks, sensor configurations and weapon system planning
- Coinciding with Mission Systems and Weapon Integration teams and pilots to deploy and evaluate new capabilities
- Responsible for both ground and airborne COMSEC configurations
- Coinciding with Test Operations, Flight Operations, and Aircraft Maintenance teams
- MPE hardware and network deployment and administration
- MPE software installation of the latest developmental releases, maintaining user accounts, and supporting system audits
- Supporting MPE and other MS related support equipment related maintenance and troubleshooting efforts

Desired Skills
- F-35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) experience with JMPS
- F-35 Multi-Ship Virtual Development Lab (MVDL) experience
- Experience Troubleshooting Applications
- Account Maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM
- Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment
- Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
- Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
