About the role
Responsible for installing and maintaining welding equipment and performing various metal fabrication tasks under the supervision of a supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding machines and perform related metal fabrication tasks
- Inspect work for conformance to specifications and quality standards
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- May assist in training new employees
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Welding certification preferred
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
Skills
- Proficient in using welding equipment
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Good communication skills
