Misc - Elem Band/Orchestra and Guitar - Riverton Elementary

About the role

Teach orchestra instruments from beginner level up to intermediate. This includes teaching students how to play the instrument and how to read notes. Orchestra instruments include violin, viola, string bass, and percussion.

Responsibilities

• Meet with orchestra students before school for 45 minutes.
• Plan and carry out concerts at least twice a year (Holiday and Spring), with an accompanying assembly for the host school and additional assemblies at other schools if applicable.
• Collaborate with other teachers (band, orchestra, choir, etc.) to plan and execute additional concerts as needed.
