MIS Systems Analyst

About the role

Provides ongoing systems and user support of one or more computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Supports the operation and maintenance of computer applications within the healthcare environment.
• Collaborates with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
• Assists users with technical issues and provides training on software applications.
• Monitors system performance and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Participates in project teams to enhance existing systems and implement new technologies.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
• Significant prior experience with Information Systems in a health care environment (considered as an alternative to a degree).
• Five years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Programmer.
• Health care experience, certification, or specialized programming skills (e.g., RPG) may be preferred or required for support of certain systems.
