About the role
Minnehaha Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Community Life/Activities Assistant to join their growing team. The community is located at 23rd Avenue South and East 38th Street in Minneapolis, MN, offering Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services.
Responsibilities
- Assist Community Life Director in developing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive community life/wellness services and programs.
- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participate in Community Life department and other required meetings.
- Participate in Care Conferences.
- Provide individual programming based on resident preference.
- Maintain Community Life department and other community supplies.
- Work with volunteers as assigned by the Community Life Department Supervisor.
- Develop a monthly wellness and community life wellness calendar to meet the needs and preferences of residents.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
