MINISTRY SITE DIRECTOR – SEGUIN

We are seeking a Ministry Site Director who embodies spiritual and organizational leadership, with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. This role requires a commitment to Youth for Christ’s (YFC) Cultural Attributes: Christ-centered, enduring humility, relentless trust, courageous faithfulness, joyful camaraderie, and kingdom-inspired diversity. The director will focus on building authentic Christ-sharing relationships with young people through YFC’s ministry model.

Responsibilities

• Ministry Team Development (60%)
  • Recruit, train, and maintain a volunteer ministry leader team in alignment with YFC’s Knowledge Base processes.
  • Strengthen connections between local churches and the ministry site.
  • Develop and provide training materials and standards for ministry leaders.
  • Build healthy 3 Story teams for each ministry site.
  • Establish support systems and guidelines to ensure healthy, growing ministry at all sites.
  • Serve as an advocate for young people in the community.
  • Report progress and ministry updates to YFC leadership.
• Relational Ministry Action Development (30%)
  • Manage, facilitate, and participate in Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs).
  • Direct the 3 Story Team in accomplishing RMA standards outlined in the Knowledge Base.
  • Develop and refine programming materials.
  • Train and evaluate ministry site leaders in implementing curriculum materials.
• Spiritual Responsibilities
  • Seek God’s guidance through prayer and meditation for the organization and specific ministry initiatives.
  • Participate in and lead regular times of prayer, devotion, and worship.
  • Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC staff meetings, conferences, camps, and events.
  • Model empathy, humility, and care for all people, promoting equity and inclusion in faith expression.
  • Opportunity to be commissioned or licensed as a minister of the Gospel through YFC or an outside recognized body.
• Fundraising Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in stewardship activities, including inviting contacts to fundraising events, recruiting donors, sending communications (letters, notes, calls), and personally ministering to donor contacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Three years of ministry experience (required).
