Ministry Resident (All Campuses)

Brief Description

The Ministry Resident at Harvest Bible Chapel is designed to provide comprehensive preparation and practical experience for pastors and ministry leaders. The program spans 2 to 4 years, depending on the individual's degree, and includes:

Primary Purpose

To receive proper ministry preparation and practice under the support of Grace Seminary or a comparable program, with a focus on:

• Significant ministry responsibilities aligned with the Resident’s areas of responsibility at Harvest Bible Chapel.
• Rigorous academic study and projects to achieve the outcomes of Grace Seminary’s Deploy Program or a similar program.

Scope of Role

The Ministry Resident will:

• Maintain consistent academic progress through Grace’s Deploy program or a similar program, ensuring completion of required academic modules and achieving competency grades (B or better).
• Provide strong support for the Ministry area(s) specific to their Harvest connections, which could include roles like Campus Focus or Ministry Focus.
• Engage in regular meetings with Deploy Mentors/Pastors for assessments in academic, ministry, and spiritual growth.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

The Resident will:

• Establish and maintain a personal relationship with Jesus and exhibit humility in sharing it.
• Communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Lead and participate in prayer sessions with other employees, guests, and attendees of the church.
• Be actively involved in the congregational life at Harvest Bible Chapel.
• Meet regularly with Deploy Mentors/Pastors for assessments in academic, ministry, and spiritual progress.

• Able to lead and follow direction, make decisions based on Church doctrine and policy/procedure.
• A deep love for God, His Church, and the world, with a passion for personal growth in knowledge, character, and skills.

Education & Experience

To be eligible, the Resident must:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Successfully complete the Grace Theological Seminary Deploy Program or a similar program.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $38,000 to $43,000, plus benefits.

Requirements

In addition to the above, the following are prerequisites for acceptance:

• Successful admission into Grace Theological Seminary Deploy Program or a similar program.
