About the role
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Assistant Professor position in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The role involves clinical and academic responsibilities including training and supervising OBGYN residents and medical students. The successful candidate will also be involved in developing and executing a MIGS fellowship program.
Responsibilities
- Train and supervise OBGYN residents and medical students
- Contribute to research, education, and leadership in the field of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
- Provide advanced multidisciplinary care for patients with complex conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, pelvic pain, and endometriosis
- Lead a fellowship program in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
- Specialize in chronic pelvic pain
Requirements
- Completed an AAGL MIGS Fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology
- Experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
- Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents
- Experience in developing and managing a fellowship program
Qualifications
