Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), Assistant Professor, Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine
Position Overview
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained MIGS specialist to join the Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics department. The role involves providing advanced surgical care, supervising OBGYN residents and medical students, and contributing to education, research, and leadership initiatives. The candidate will also participate in starting and managing a MIGS fellowship program. Chronic pelvic pain expertise is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced care for complex gynecologic conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, and pelvic pain.
- Supervise and train residents and medical students.
- Participate in research, education, and leadership activities.
- Develop and execute the MIGS fellowship program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of an AAGL MIGS fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Surgery
- Nevada medical license and DEA license required before start
- 1–3 years of experience preferred; current MIGS fellows encouraged to apply
- Program directorship experience preferred
