Mine Maintenance Repair Employee

About the role

Safely performs maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment and processes in the Milling plant including mills, conveyors, screens and like systems.

Responsibilities

• Aid in and perform component replacement and repairs on, but not limited to: conveyor systems, ball mills, auto mills, screen decks, lube systems, filter drums, crushers, hydraulic filter presses, and foundry pumps
• Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance: identify potential failures/noises/wear on agitators, rotors, belts, pulleys, gear boxes
• May perform welding (Stick, TIG)
• Maintain work orders, a clean and safe work area and perform work area inspections
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience in mechanical/maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance
• Must have completed academic and competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees), and have experience demonstrating required mechanical aptitude
• Selected candidate shall demonstrate ability to apply knowledge and technical skills while also passing a written assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

• This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions
• Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors
• This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance
