Millwright Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform millwright work within a union environment as dispatched to maintain equipment, systems, and processes to support manufacturing production.
• Read and understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints.
• Experience with metal removal processes and equipment preferred.
• Equipment installation experience required.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience required.
• Proficient in welding – stick, mig, tig.
• Ability to perform rigging requirements.
• Automation of conveyors (power and free) and material handling equipment experience is required.
• Work well with others and in teams.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Possess a certified journeyperson’s card (or similar contractual Journeyperson status) or document a minimum of eight years of experience in specific trade from previous employers on company letterhead.
• Available to work overtime and flexible schedule as required within union facility agreement.
• Available to work any shift as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-employment physical including drug testing.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
