About the Role
Responsible for providing consultation and overall coordination of generating station Stores functions, including cataloging items into the Oracle Inventory application and performing various materials management activities.
Responsibilities
- Administrate the Oracle Inventory application for the Generation department, including accurately cataloging items, maintaining manufacturer and vendor cross references, and modifying item descriptions.
- Administrate the Distribution Requirements Planned (DRP) application for the Generation department, including updating safety stock and inventory standard levels, troubleshooting improper settings, and entering information for newly added inventory items.
- Assist the Procurement department by analyzing inventory usage and spending patterns to recommend adequate funding for blanket agreements.
- Conduct inventory spot checks twice per year and capital tool spot checks once per year at generating station warehouses.
- Generate and provide monthly and annual inventory reports to Generation management and warehouse supervision.
- Serve as security clearance steward for the Oracle Inventory application by determining proper clearance levels, providing approvals, and training new users.
- Assist the Technology Services department with guidance and testing of upgrades to Oracle Inventory and DRP applications.
- Assist with writing and modifying Stores procedures for Generation Inventory and ensure compliance across all warehouse locations.
- Process material disposal forms and assist the Investment Recovery department in the disposal or sale of inventory.
- Support Enterprise Asset Management (Maximo) and Enterprise Content Management on a limited basis, focusing on learning application functionality and interfaces.
Requirements
- For Engineering Technician A: Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years experience, Associate’s Degree + 6 years experience, or High School Diploma/GED + 8 years experience.
- For Engineering Technician B: Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year experience, Associate’s Degree + 3 years experience, or High School Diploma/GED + 5 years experience.
- For Engineering Technician C: Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED + 5 years experience.
Pay
- Engineering Technician A: $33.35 – $41.65 (min. – mid.)
- Engineering Technician B: $27.00 – $33.75 (min. – mid.)
- Engineering Technician C: $22.00 – $27.45 (min. – mid.)
