About the role
CPP and its subsidiaries are a world-class supplier of titanium castings and components for the aerospace industry, with multiple facilities in Albany, OR. This position is a non-management, full-time role focused on implementing and expediting general maintenance functions, preventative maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components, power transmission components, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
- Install, set up, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment for reliability.
- Locate root causes and repair mechanical and electrical systems using sound troubleshooting methods to minimize costly downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions on machining lathes, mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and other production equipment using diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, torches, jacks, ladders, cranes, and high lifts.
- Perform welding and fabrication (torch, MIG, stick) of custom parts or to repair equipment to original condition.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and production teams regarding equipment status and repairs.
- Provide proper record keeping and documentation for machines, equipment, and facility files.
- Install, service, and repair buildings, facilities, and grounds, including doors, windows, structures, guard rails, fencing, air handling units, equipment foundations, and pavement.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established safe work procedures, including personal protection equipment, lockout/tag-out, confined space, respiratory, and elevated work areas.
- Familiarity with state licensing requirements for Millwright and Electrical work.
- Arc flash, forklift, and aerial platform training/experience a plus.
- Combination of Electrical and Millwright experience, knowledge, or licensing.
Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical installations and equipment effectively.
- Experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance, including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, and power transmission.
- Oregon LME, PJ, PS, or J Electrical license required.
- State millwright card preferred with 1+ years of experience in an industrial facility, or 5+ years of millwright experience in an industrial facility.
- Working knowledge of blueprints, technical part manuals, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and measuring tools (e.g., gages, meters, calipers).
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- U.S. person status is required (U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by U.S. law).
Schedule
Weekday Swing (4 x 10's): Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay
Pay range starts at $30.04 per hour or higher with experience.
