Key Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical wiring, switches, receptacles, light fixtures, ballasts, and motors.
  • Install and maintain motor control equipment, PLCs, and power distribution systems.
  • Ensure all work meets NEC (National Electrical Code) and OESC standards, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and upkeep of machinery to prevent failures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Active Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license.
  • Own tools, able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Two years of industrial manufacturing or military experience; knowledge of OSHA and State regulations.
  • Experience with controls--PLC, VFD.
  • Able to work all shifts, holidays, weekends.
  • Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Physical ability: Capability to lift 50-70 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.

Typical Working Conditions

  • Work is often in industrial environments and can be dirty, strenuous, and involve bending or standing for long periods.
  • May require flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, or on-call, to support manufacturing operations.
