Daily Job Duties
- Use mechanical and power tools to repair mill equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Be able to use work order system.
- Be able to do basic maintenance on all equipment.
- Read schematics, and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs.
- Welding & Fabrication for repairs and install of mill equipment.
- Work on and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic units and devices.
- Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
- Operate Forklift – as required.
- Follow all applicable safety rules.
- Work regular scheduled shifts.
- Work scheduled overtime – as required.
- Work as relief operator.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Requirements
- Welding
- Acetylene/Oxygen Torch
- Wide range of mechanical skills and use of tools
- Forklift
Pay
Hourly rate for this position is $32.25 per hour.
Schedule
Regularly scheduled shifts.
