Summary
Mortenson is seeking a Millwright Journeyman responsible for dismantling, erecting, assembling, aligning, adjusting, and maintaining machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Dismantle and assemble machines using hand and power tools
- Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
- Align machines and equipment using various tools and instruments
- Operate cranes, forklifts, hoists, lift trucks, and other equipment
- Install and maintain lubrication systems on machines
- Handle major components during offloading and installation
- Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, assembly/disassembly, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; detail-oriented with a positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- Strong teamwork orientation with active listening and effective communication skills, open to diverse input and feedback
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
