Job Summary IMI is seeking a full-time Millwright Foreman local to the Watkinsville, GA area. Essential Functions Successfully complete Industrial Mechanical, Inc.’s Foreman training. Provide leadership that result in a safe, positive, and respectful work culture. Function as the on-site Quality Lead as required to support the IMI Quality Management System. Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in dismantling, moving, assembling, and installing industrial machinery to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and timelyAbility to serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and other employees regarding current and future projects. Effective communication skills, especially with respect to directing others. Inspects quality of all work to ensure company standards and project specifications are met. Assists workers in their performance of assigned duties. Analyze and resolve work related problems. Reviews materials received at jobsite to ensure it is correct and not defective. Checks equipment to ensure proper working conditionsMaintains time and track production. Ability to communicate with Project Managers and General Foremen about establishing and adjusting work sequences to meet schedulesAbility to multitask and manage multiple employees and projects at once. Ensure that all initial safety and hazard assessments (JHA’s and Worksite Safety Inspections) required by Industrial Mechanical, Inc. and our customers are completed before work begins.
