Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call, rotating shifts, and holidays
- Experience with reading blueprints and precision measurements
- Troubleshooting experience
- Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation
- Able to work in extreme heat/cold, navigate catwalks and ladders
- Physical ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, including climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending
- Able to communicate effectively and constructively
- Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an industrial environment
- Basic trade skills in industrial equipment repair and execution of routine preventative maintenance of heavy industrial equipment
- Knowledge of Mig, Tig and Arc welding
- Machinist training and experience
- Stable employment history with a minimum two years of experience in Industrial Maintenance work OR equivalent education to include vocational/technical school certificate
- A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of bearing installation, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installations
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge of metal fabrication
- Basic knowledge of cylinder repair
- Working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issues
