About the role

Responsible for assisting in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Replace defective parts of machine or equipment or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rulers, micrometers, and other related tools.
• Possess blueprint knowledge.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4-year post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Skills

• On-the-job training.

Physical Requirements

• Vision/Sight/Hearing.
• Physical strength: heavy work, lifting over 50 lbs, carrying, pushing/pulling.
• Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, reaching, balancing.
• Environmental conditions: temperature changes, noise, wet handling, vibration.
• Hazards: eye/hand/foot coordination.
