About the role

Work on site supporting different tasks for demolition and construction projects. Torch cutting different types of material. Rigging experience helpful. Ability to adhere to all OSHA; EPA; as well as other federal agency, state and company hazardous materials laws and policies. Be a strong team leader/player with a positive attitude who is hard working and motivated every day.

Responsibilities

• Support different tasks for demolition and construction projects
• Perform torch cutting on various materials
• Adhere to OSHA, EPA, federal agency, state and company hazardous materials laws and policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years construction experience required
• OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 certification required (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Experience with construction hand tools required
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required
• Torch cutting and rigging experience preferred, but not required
• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not required

Pay

Compensation Range: $32.00 - $35.00/hour. Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Schedule

• Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year
• Sick Time: 56 hours per year
• Paid Holidays: 8 company-paid holidays per year
