About the role
EnviroVantage, Inc., an industry-leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor established in 1985, seeks to expand its team. We serve projects nationwide and in the Caribbean, known for handling hazardous materials and demolition for government, commercial, and industrial clients.
Responsibilities
- Work on-site supporting various tasks for demolition and construction projects
- Torch cutting different types of materials
- Rigging experience helpful
- Able to adhere to OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and company hazardous materials laws and policies
- Strong team leader/attitude, hardworking, and motivated daily
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience required
- OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 certification required; willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Experience with construction hand tools required
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required
- Torch cutting and rigging experience preferred, but not required
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not required

Skills
- Coordination: Ability to coordinate actions with other workers on busy construction sites
- Attendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and effectively
- Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Lifting: Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Climbing: Ability to climb stairs and ladders

- Compensation Range: $32.00 - $35.00/hour
