About the Location

Located 100 miles northwest of Phoenix, Bagdad is home to the world's first commercial-scale concentrate leach processing facility, as well as one of the longest continuously operating solvent extraction/electrowinning plants in the world.
Responsibilities
- Safely performs maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment and processes in the Milling plant including mills, conveyors, screens and like systems.
- Assist with and perform component replacement and repairs on, but not limited to: conveyor systems, ball mills, auto mills, screen decks, lube systems, filter drums, crushers, hydraulic filter presses, and foundry pumps.
- Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance: identify potential failures/noises/wear on agitators, rotors, belts, pulleys, gear boxes.
- May perform welding (Stick, TIG).
- Responsible for maintaining work orders, a clean and safe work area and performing work area inspections.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- One (1) year of experience in mechanical/maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Ability to read and use schematics and blueprints.
- Must have completed academic and competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees), and have experience demonstrating required mechanical aptitude.
- Selected candidate shall demonstrate ability to apply knowledge and technical skills while also passing a written assessment based on technical skills/abilities, academic knowledge, and safety.
- Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
- Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
- Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
Pay
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $24.00 - $32.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
