Mill Operator Trainee

Responsibilities

• Make guided decisions to support the primary objective of safe production.
• Maintain and operate concentrator equipment.
• Maintain and operate concentrator equipment.
• Maintain and operate concentrator equipment.
• Maintain and operate concentrator equipment.
• Maintain and operate concentrator equipment.
• Maintain and operate concentrator equipment.
• Perform detailed inspections of operating equipment and operational areas.
• Aid in maintenance activities.
• Complete area housekeeping duties.
• Learn and understand basic metallurgical milling principles.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Three (3) months work experience.
• Completed academic and practical competencies required (Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists).
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
• Knowledge of milling, crushing and conveying equipment including operating parameters, limits and functionality of equipment.

Benefits

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $22.00 - $29.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $22.00 - $29.50/hour.

Schedule

This role is eligible for shift work at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
