Job Summary
Prepare, label and distribute enteral and oral feeding orders to the NICU unit in order to optimize nutritional and immunological protection as well as growth and development.

Prepare, label and distribute enteral and oral feeding orders to the NICU unit in order to optimize nutritional and immunological protection as well as growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, label and distribute enteral and oral feeding orders to the NICU unit in order to optimize nutritional and immunological protection as well as growth and development.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to medical protocols and standards.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients regarding feeding plans.
- Monitor and adjust feeding schedules based on patient progress and feedback.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- High School diploma required.
- Ability to do complex math.
- ServSafe certification strongly preferred within one year of hire or transfer.
- Previous experience as pharmacy or dietetic technician and knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
- One year experience working with a hospital diet office or in a medical field strongly preferred; pediatric patient population preferred.
Qualifications
- Proficient math skills with focus on attention to detail and accuracy of output.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, good organizational skills.
