Medical Laboratory Scientist- Lab- FT- 1st Shift

About the role

Performs repetitive and complex laboratory analyses. Correlates and interprets laboratory data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates and/or Bachelors degree required.
• Certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency, i.e., ASCP, AMT or AAB within 6 months of hire. Recertification is required every 3 years if certification was obtained on 1/1/2004 or after. Certification does not expire for individuals certified prior to 1/1/2004.

Experience

Experience as generalist or in designated discipline strongly preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities

• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
• Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality in the handling of patient information.
• Absolute integrity and accuracy in the identification and reporting of number and names.
