Responsibilities
- Drive sales through direct and indirect customer outreach
- Identify opportunities to expand Servmart's reach within the local DoD community
- Advise customers with relevant information that supports informed purchasing decisions for their commands
- Build new business opportunities while strengthening engagement with existing customers
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with DoD commands across Hampton Roads
- Conduct customer visits and networking efforts to promote contract awareness and customer engagement
- Cook up meetings with key personnel across various commands and deliver sales presentations
- Maintain accurate records to meet reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Prior military experience with supply chain or logistics
- Working knowledge of DoD contracting processes including FAR and DFARS regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a results-driven approach to achieving or exceeding sales goals
- Able to obtain and maintain access to military installations, including successful completion of background checks and acquisition of required credentials (e.g., dBIDS)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness and ability to travel to various locations as needed
