About the role
SNC's Military Fellowship Program provides up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. Participants gain valuable work experience and build professional networks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Supply Chain Project Coordinators and Supply Chain Program Managers, providing daily oversight and guidance.
- Develop and execute the Program-level Supply Chain Management Plan, including supply chain strategies, reporting, and communication plan.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to develop strategies that meet program missions, ensuring timely completion of technical requirements documentation and adequate labor/non-labor budgets.
- Lead make/buy assessments from a supply chain perspective, and act as the subcontract Program Manager for large or complex subcontracts.
- Support SNC's Design for Excellence (Dfx) initiatives by leading Design for Supply Chain (DFSC) efforts, including implementing Design to Product Target Cost (DPTC) methodologies.
- Communicate supply chain status, identify/manage risk and opportunity, and champion recovery plans.
- Manage the cost, technical, and schedule aspects of supply chain for proposals and programs as the Program Management representative.
- Prepare regular status reports on cost, schedule, and performance metrics, and analyze causes behind significant variances.
- Support technical evaluations of proposals, develop source selection plans, and present business cases to Program Management and Supply Chain Leadership.
Requirements
- Currently serving on active duty and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.
- A Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Technical/Engineering, or relevant technical experience.
- 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including 4+ years of program/people management experience.
- Experience in multiple phases of product cycles, including prototyping, development, qualification, certification, LRIP, FRP, and sustainment.
- Knowledge of procurement regulatory requirements, cost & schedule analysis, and familiarity with FAR, FAA regulations, AS9100, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with DFSC initiatives, including DPTC methodologies, and proficiency in data analytics and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel 25% of time on average, with extensive travel.
Qualifications
- Higher technical education (postgraduate) may be considered as a substitute for relevant technical experience.
- Strong understanding of FAR, FAA regulations, AS9100, and other industry requirements.
- The ability to influence all levels of the organization.
- Security clearance to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
