Military Fellowship Program: Subcontracts Management Specialist

About the role

The Subcontracts Management Specialist position at SNC is part of the ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area. This area is a leader in ISR and aviation, providing innovative, high-performance systems and comprehensive support.

Responsibilities

• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare bid packages, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend new subcontractors, and administer subcontracts.
• Administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M), throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Participate and lead minor to moderate negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and monitor subcontractor performance.

Requirements

• Currently serving as active duty military and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 2+ years of relevant experience, or higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
