Responsibilities
- Uses Costpoint system to document all inventory transactions.
- Uses Microsoft Word for various reports.
- Completes and distributes receiving records to appropriate Planner/Production Control.
- Counts, sorts incoming articles and stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves.
- Maintains records on an automated PC system, Costpoint, and manual files as required.
- Receives pick lists from Planning and pulls material from stock to assemble kits.
- Distributes transfer records.
- Rearranges storage as necessary to accommodate varying parts, components and finished stock.
- Maintains storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
- Complies with all Company safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Issues and maintains a common office supply inventory.
- Conducts cycle counting on inventory.
- Conducts physical inventory on Government Property.
- Computes work order costs and closes completed work packages.
- Investigates problem items.
- Maintains Discrepancy Report.
- Prepares requisitions for office supply needs.
- Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours.
- Supports Shipping and Receiving as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience.
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Decision making skills.
- The ability to work well with a team.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
