Military Fellowship Program: Project Manager
About the role
The SNC's Military Fellowship Program provides up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. Participants gain valuable work experience and build professional networks.
Responsibilities
- Manage a project from design to release for customers
- Maintain project from initiation through delivery and program closeout
- Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Identify needed resources for projects
- Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed
- Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators
- Prepare reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Currently serving on active duty
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Demonstrated experience in managing a project
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or similar tool
- Experience with developing budgets and managing projects to those budgets
- Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution
- Experience in resource planning and management during project execution
- Familiarity with government contracting and regulations

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,768.30 - $117,931.40. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
