Military Fellowship Program: Project Coordinator

About the role

SNC's Military Fellowship Program provides up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. Participants gain valuable work experience and build professional networks.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes
  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams
  • Assist with schedule management
  • Ensure clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets, analyze risks and opportunities, monitor project progress and address issues
  • Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
  • Work with the Program Manager to remove roadblocks
  • Use tools to monitor and control performance
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports

Requirements

  • Currently serving as active duty military and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 2+ years of relevant experience
  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Fundamental MS Office Skills
  • Manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
  • Obtain and maintain a US Security clearance

Qualifications

  • Prior Experience with:
    • Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned
    • Data entry into PM Systems
    • Collaborating with internal Leadership, vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams, such as IPT leads, CAMs, Tech Leads and PA’s to ensure program activities will accomplish objectives
    • Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments
    • Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives
  • Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate Agility and responsiveness in a fast paced environment

    Pay

    Estimated Starting Salary Range: $30.35 - $41.73. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

    Schedule

    Open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
