Responsibilities

  • Administer functional tests along with troubleshooting at a system level down to the component level
  • Maintain records of the mentioned special test processes
  • Execute within a well-defined operations framework
  • Perform special test following test specifications and procedures for high volume manufacturing
  • Set up and perform test with minimal direction using sophisticated equipment
  • Perform analyses and diagnostics of process, products, computers, and test equipment used in systems verification
  • Execute within a well-defined operations framework

  • Troubleshoot electronics systems, circuit card assemblies to component level with analog, digital, and microprocessor-based circuits, assemblies, and test equipment
  • Prescribe rework instructions for products needing repair
  • Ensure product compliance and quality
  • Attend and participate in team meetings

Requirements

  • Active Military personnel on their last 180 days of Military service
  • Associate's degree in an electronics technology discipline from an accredited university or college (or High School diploma / GED with at least two years of experience in Testing and/or Troubleshooting)
  • Active security clearance
  • Experience in high volume production environment
  • Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
  • Experience with general purpose test instruments (digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, phase angle voltmeters and automated test equipment)
  • Experience in functional testing and environmental stress screening of class 3 electronics systems
  • Experience using hand tools for electronics disassembly and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 soldering specifications
  • Basic understanding of embedded software
  • Familiar with Electric Static Discharge precautions
  • Able to follow technical procedures and specifications
  • Able to read and understand technical documentation such as schematic diagrams, drawings, and parts lists
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and PDF Viewers
