Engineering Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
• Track project milestones, action items, deliverables, budgets, and key dates.
• Cook up project activities between engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and external suppliers.
• Prepare weekly project status reports, dashboards, Gantt charts, and executive summaries.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, decision logs, and action item registers.
• Monitor project progress and proactively communicate schedule risks, delays, and resource conflicts.
• Aid engineers with planning project workloads and prioritizing activities.
• Cook up capital project reporting and documentation.
• Cook up engineering meetings and prepare presentation materials.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to identify schedule risks and proactively communicate issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience creating dashboards, Gantt charts, project schedules, and executive presentations.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes preferred.

Education And Experience Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• An associate's degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Project Management, Business, or a related technical field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical projects preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.

Computer Equipment And Software Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Experience using Monday.com.
• Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD or Solid Works).
