Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain engineering project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
- Track project milestones, action items, deliverables, budgets, and key dates.
- Cook up project activities between engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and external suppliers.
- Prepare weekly project status reports, dashboards, Gantt charts, and executive summaries.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, decision logs, and action item registers.
- Monitor project progress and proactively communicate schedule risks, delays, and resource conflicts.
- Aid engineers with planning project workloads and prioritizing activities.
- Cook up capital project reporting and documentation.
- Cook up engineering meetings and prepare presentation materials.
Skills And Abilities Required
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to identify schedule risks and proactively communicate issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience creating dashboards, Gantt charts, project schedules, and executive presentations.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes preferred.
Education And Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- An associate's degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Project Management, Business, or a related technical field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical projects preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
Computer Equipment And Software Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Experience using Monday.com.
- Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD or Solid Works).
