Military Communications Consultant | $80/hr Remote

Position: Federal Staff Reporting Analyst | Type: Contract | Location: Remote

Pay

$40 - $80/hour

Schedule

10-40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine authentic federal reporting artifacts such as Weekly Action Reports and Situation Reports.
• Develop high-quality written responses and summaries reflecting federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate and grade sample project submissions for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Contribute input artifacts and golden reference responses for various federal and military report types.
• Support the creation of guidelines and evaluative rubrics for AI model training in federal report generation.
• Consult on task design and requirements to improve project outputs.
• Participate in feedback cycles to ensure deliverables meet evolving project standards.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in federal reporting or staff writing functions.
• Demonstrated expertise producing templated reports such as WARs, MARs, and SITREPs.
• Background with one or more branches of the US military is valued.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to clarity and compliance.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite for producing official reports and presentations.
• Ability to articulate reporting methodology and provide feedback for training purposes.
